Back Yard


 I have not had a chance to paint outdoors for quite awhile. Most of my work has been in the studio but I finally had a chance to get outside a couple weeks ago and try out my new half box French Easel.

This was done fairly quickly, one and half hours and is an 8x10 oil on board.

Studio Time

 It has been months since I have posted anything, the main reason being is I have been busy in the studio and then it just became too hot and muggy to enjoy getting out there. Instead I set up my French easel and started a series of paintings based on old family photos. These are all fairly small, most being 8x10 and all are on either gessoed plywood or canvas board.
